HOW IT WORKS
Invent Oregon empowers you to take your best idea from concept to design and prototype and provide the training and support necessary to bring your idea to market. InventOR is open to any student in any program with an idea that will change the world for the better.
At the semifinal and final competition, student teams will be evaluated by a committee of judges from professional backgrounds who will evaluate the students' skill in pitching their invention and the strength of the prototype demonstration.
Invent Oregon provides the grants and guidance necessary to take a student team’s idea for positive impact through all stages of prototyping. Teams must consist of two or more students working on a physical invention, not restricted to any sector or industry.
Invent Oregon is training the workforce of tomorrow across the state in both urban and rural areas by providing a deep dive on invention education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Together we can support the next generation of Oregon inventors and entrepreneurs.
