About the Event

How can we reimagine the way product design is taught at schools to move away from our traditional take-make-dispose economy to one with a closed-loop, where materials, nutrients, and data are continuously repurposed.

How can the current maker students be inspired and supported in their quests for sustainable, functional, and low-waste? What resources are available for students to ideat with circle economy practices.

We will explore how a focus on circular economy affects design education during this panel— we will share examples and experience designing for longevity and using recycled and reclaimed materials.
