🏆 1st Place + People’s Choice Award – Invent Oregon 2025
Meet the champions of Invent Oregon 2025 — the EEGonaut team from Oregon Health & Science University.
Chloé Le Moing, Aaliya Mehnaz Ahmed, and Joe Gordon are combining neuroscience, play, and compassion to help kids manage ADHD, anxiety, and emotional regulation through a groundbreaking VR headset powered by brainwaves.
Their device offers short, interactive games that respond to the player’s brain activity in real time — helping children learn mindfulness, focus, and calm in a fun, engaging way. It’s an affordable, non-invasive alternative to traditional therapies and medications, designed to make mental health support more accessible for families everywhere.
The project captured hearts across the state, earning first place and the People’s Choice Award at Invent Oregon 2025.

🎥 In our feature documentary, the EEGonaut team shares their journey — from brainstorming sessions to the moment their innovation took home the top prize.
