Warner Pacific teams renewing resources advance to InventOR

A pitchfest last week at Warner Pacific University resulted in the advancement of two teams to the InventOR semifinal round. Both teams have a sustainable invention to meet the InventOR challenge to come up with ideas to solve our communities' most pressing challenges.

Warner Pacific College is sending two teams — R3 and Euphoria — to InventOR.

The InventOR Semifinals, a Lab2Market experience, will take place May 17-19 at the Portland State University Business Accelerator.

Team Euphoria from Warner Pacific, pictured above, will be pitching their prototype for solar-powered backpacks.

Team R3, will be pitching their innovation, which is sewing thread made from recycled plastics.
